International graduate programme for people with a passion for engineering and technology who are STEM graduates (UK), or have a degree at University of Technology (EU).
Our 12-month fast track graduate academy programme is focused on developing your knowledge and understanding of our business and the skills required to succeed in our industry.
To enable you to understand the day to day running of the business, you will commence the programme in role-based environment with bespoke training from day one, this practical experience and knowledge will equip you and support your development as you progress through the programme.
During the programme you will be required to travel to our subsidiaries within the UK and Europe, you will work in operational areas of the business, receive in depth product training, and get involved in live projects to build on your experience and enable you to network effectively within the organisation.
In addition to self-paced learning available from day one, you will receive support from a dedicated mentor throughout the programme.
After successful completion of the 12-month programme you will move into an Account Manager role with the appropriate uplift in remuneration, where you will use the skills and expertise developed through the programme manage your own accounts and grow our business.
However, if during the programme other areas of the business are of interest then we are open to explore and understand opportunities to help achieve your career goals.
As there is complexity to our organisation you will need to understand how we work from day one with the core knowledge our business, our history, and you will also dive into Sonepar.
Your induction passport will ensure that you receive information about what it is like to work for us, our culture, our commitment to sustainability, inclusion, your wellbeing, and our purpose.
Of course, there will be mandatory training in areas of H&S and Compliance that forms part of the induction.

Insights - which will tell us how you might perform in the workplace, and your typical or preferred ways of working.
You will also be asked to complete an assessment to show us your technical skills.
We will also invite you to complete a video interview consisting of between three and five questions. We will give you time to prepare before you share your answers.
If you have been successful so far, we will invite you to attend an interview either in person or virtually. This is where you will have a further opportunity to show us the relevant strengths, behaviors or technical skills required for the programme. During the interview you will meet different members of the leadership team.
