In April, along with over 20 of our manufacturing partners, we had four fantastic Routeco Live events speaking to over 350 customers about solutions for an automated future.

We visited the Toughsheet Community Stadium in Bolton, the JobServe Community Stadium in Colchester, the National Conference Centre in Solihull and Elland Road in Leeds and covered a number of topics including cyber security, remote access, condition monitoring and the support services available from Routeco.

Rockwell Automation hosted seminars away from the main show floor giving the opportunity to delve deeper into hot topics such as the EU machine safety directive, defence against cyber-attacks and a sneak peek into their new products and technologies.

Each exhibitor had space on the show floor for their new products and solutions that demonstrated the power and potential of an automated future. There was live mechatronics in action, showing cobots, smart vision, I/O link wireless and end of arm tooling.

At Routeco, giving back to local communities is important to us and we made a donation of £5 on behalf of every attendee. This totals £1,790 across the four events and St Ann’s Hospice, Health for All, Alzheimer’s Society and St Helena Hospice will each receive a donation.
