Yaskawa Motoman was founded in 1915 and produces robotic automation for industry and robotic applications including arc welding, assembly, clean room, dispensing, materials handling and spot welding. MOTOMAN began its European operation in 1976 as a manufacturer and supplier of welding machinery, primarily to the automotive industry, and became part of Yaskawa Electric Corporation in the mid-1990s. Yaskawa Electric is the leading global manufacturer of inverter drives, servo drives, machine controllers, medium voltage inverters and MOTOMAN industrial robots.
