We offer a wide range of Industrial Control & Automation training courses. From basic introductory courses to scheduled classroom style training in conjunction with manufacturers such as Rockwell Automation, Hirschmann and Pilz. Using fully equipped training centres we can provide courses for individuals or groups. Courses can also be arranged at the customer’s premises or at their local Routeco branch.
INTRODUCTORY COURSES Introductory courses are customer specific and delivered by Routeco support staff. These courses are ideal for customers looking for a product overview and basic hands-on training, enabling them to become familiar with both the hardware and software. ON-SITE On-site training is available on most Rockwell Automation products. We can come to site and provide standard courses as per the scheduled training or we can customise courses to suit your needs. SCHEDULED TRAINING Scheduled training utilises Rockwell Automations training centres and provides classroom style training courses covering a wide range of Rockwell Automation and Microsoft products. Courses are available at different levels covering maintenance, engineering and various programming disciplines. TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS We offer a comprehensive training needs analysis at the customers site to establish an individuals knowledge, skill and experience relative to site specific installed automation equipment. The objective is to accurately establish the capability of an individual before any commitment is made to training. On completion of the analysis, confidential feedback is provided on each individual and a detailed training recommendation is proposed to bring each delegate up to the competency level required by the customer. Proper planning of training based on the training needs analysis optimises the benefits to the company and the individual.
SAFETY RELATED TRAINING Requirements for Maintaining Plant & Machinery – Safety Related Controls The aim of this course is to give maintenance engineers the required knowledge to be able to appreciate the requirements of the regulations, and standards relating to work equipment; and understand the circuit principles of electrical safety related control systems and to identify faults that could occur. General Course on Machinery Regulations & Standards for Machine Builders The aim of this course is to equip delegates with knowledge to allow them to correctly apply the requirements of the machinery regulations, and the relevant harmonised standards, to the design of a new machine. Design of Hard Wired Electrical Safety Related Control Systems for Machinery The aim of this course is to equip delegates with the necessary knowledge, to be able to apply electrical safety related control circuit designs in line with current standards.
