ASSET MANAGEMENT

We can help you to focus on improving your efficiency and productivity allowing you to reduce your automation equipment assets by offering a range of asset management services. 



BONDED STOCK
Bonded stock agreements are available to customers who are looking to reduce their inventory costs and require a guarantee of greater availability or immediate availability of parts. Routeco will retain ownership and manage the inventory on the customer’s site consolidating invoicing for products used at specified intervals. Bonded stock agreements are subject to a minimum number of agreed stock turns. 

EXTENDED WARRANTIES
In addition to manufacturers warranties we can offer extended warranties for additional years until the product is 5 years old. Extended warranties must be purchased at time of ordering or within 7 days of receipt of goods.  
 
INSTALLED PRODUCT EVALUATION
Our installed product evaluation service will help you take stock of your inventory from identifying parts used to a comprehensive site evaluation survey. We will recommend replacement or alternative products where items are now obsolete or difficult to source. A detailed spares list will be compiled by site, by area/location by panel. This is a chargeable service which is refundable upon sign up of an agreement.  
 
KANBAN
We support customers who use Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing systems with a range of Kanban services. Stock replenishment on a next day basis with lower administration and inventory costs are the main benefits. 

KITTING
Many customers could benefit from our kitting service. We put together a kit of products made up to your specification and deliver in one shipment as and when required.  
 
LEASE PURCHASE AGREEMENT
Recommended spares and capital equipment purchases can be supplied on a ‘Lease Purchase’ basis. It is ideal for customers who require the added protection of guaranteed available stock held at their premises. This is particularly suitable for plant critical spares or plants operating 24/7/365. The lease purchase scheme is available over two-year, three-year and five-year periods. We assess the installed base of equipment and recommend spares. The proposal is based on the customers normal cost of purchasing the product plus an annual interest fee. Payments are made quarterly in advance and after the final payment the ownership of the products transfer to the customer.  

MANAGED STORE REPLENISHMENT
We are able to offer a managed store replenishment service whereby we take over the consumable items in your warehouse and agree minimum and maximum stock levels. On a weekly basis a Routeco representative will visit the site and assess stock that has fallen below the minimum level and will arrange for product to be delivered to bring it up to the maximum level. Replenishment orders will be placed on the customer’s behalf at pre agreed pricing against a blanket order up to an agreed fiscal limit. Beyond this limit written authorisation by the customer is required. The minimum length of contract would be twelve months with quarterly review meetings to assess usage and adjust min/max levels where appropriate. 

OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICE
24-hour service is now a phone call away. Our normal opening hours are from 8:30am until 5:30pm and any orders placed before 5pm can be despatched on a next day delivery service to anywhere in the UK. After 5:30pm we have introduced our out of hour’s service allowing customers to get hold of vital pieces of equipment right through the night. This service is subject to a £100 call out fee.

PARTS MANAGEMENT SERVICE 
For complete peace of mind we offer a Parts Management Service which includes access to an engineering stand-by service (guaranteed 24 hour lead time to on site response with fixed cost charges) and strategic spares items on your site. The site stock is also backed up with stock held in another location guaranteeing replacement of site stock within 24 hours. Site stock is managed by scheduled visits from an engineer.  
 
PRODUCT SERVICE AGREEMENT
We offer a low cost ‘product service agreement’ to customers who do not require physical stock to be kept on site. This is suitable for customers with non critical plant or where a number of hours between products arriving on site is not an issue. We assess the installed base of equipment, recommend spares and cross check against our standard stock profile. Stocked items are available 24/7/365 and can be shipped by various methods of transport at cost with no out of hour’s administration fee. Special items (non-stocked) will still need to be purchased through the normal channels or lease purchased. The contract and assessment is reviewed on an annual basis.  
 
PRODUCT UPGRADES
Manufacturers frequently introduce new versions of a specific product that incorporate additional features and capabilities. Selected products are available for upgrading to the latest product release at a special price.

REPAIRS
We are able to offer a comprehensive range of electronic repair services including all necessary parts, labour, material and recalibration for a broad spectrum of suppliers and manufacturers. Repairs are carried out by the original manufacturer or specialised repairs organisation and carry a comprehensive warranty. Repairs can be facilitated on the customer’s site based on an hourly rate charge and we can also arrange out of hours repair contracts if required.

SPARES
Our spares service offers you the opportunity to purchase original manufacturer spare parts to maintain and repair your plant floor equipment.  
 
WARRANTY
We will honour the standard manufacturer’s warranty that applies to equipment purchased from Routeco. This is typically 12 months from the date of purchase with any variation confirmed at the time of order. Should you need to make a warranty claim you should contact your local Routeco branch.
